Apple's new iPad 3 has already been jailbroken untethered by the famous iPhone Dev Team. It may seem like an April Fool's joke to many people, however it is not. The hackers were managed to find 3 different exploits to jailbreak for iPad 3 on iOS 5.1. The iPhone Dev Team said, "It turns out that all three of the jailbreak methods mentioned above have had great success today! We're off to a good start (but remember there's still lots of work to do!)" So, the first method is from MuscleNerd. iPhone Dev Team's frontman MuscleNerd has shown a very good jailbreak on the new iPad 3 running iOS 5.1. He posted a couple of screenshots on Twitter showing off the third-gen iDevice running the latest build of Cydia, which is 1.1.5. Here are the screenshots:

Another method is from chpwn. Joining the new iPad 3 jailbreak party, hacker Grant Paul also known as chpwn introduced another method of the iPad 3 jailbreak. Right after this video the hacker got thousands of new followers on Twitter as well as lots of spam on his email, as people want to know when the jailbreak will be released.
